The Cathedral Conference of St. Vincent de Paul
Monies to support the society are collected from parishioners through a
targeted monthly collection at the doors of the Cathedral.
The Cathedral's area of responsibility is the area adjacent to the Church
extending several blocks in each direction ... and to the needy and those
requiring emergency assistance within that area.
Food, clothing, furniture, medicine/prescriptions and other necessities of
life are the usual forms of assistance.
No monies are given to recipients of aid. Assistance is in form of food
vouchers and certificates (for medical prescriptions) and checks to suppliers
as needed.
